Our Approach

Our Learning  Model

At Sheevolution Africa, our training curriculum is designed to be immersive and fun. It is structured across four learning tracks for a well-rounded learning experience;

Our Engagement Model

School Adoption: Using the Adoption Model, our aim is depth before spread. We onboard cohorts in our adopted schools taking them through a year long robust learning program before graduating them into our wider impact networks.

Mentor Network: We believe the African adage that says " It takes a village to raise a child” hence our mentor networks are the heart of our operation. This strategy is 2 pronged: it involves an older mentor network of established thought leaders and changemakers whose personal mission of legacy building aligns with our vision and a younger network of changemakers who inspire and coach each cohort along the lines of their competencies.

Growth Clubs:

School-specific Growth Clubs and Graduate Growth Clubs. A select group of young girls are groomed over the course of a year and then graduate into our alumni cohort who receive support, resources and access to funding to enable them to build on what they have been taught.

Growth Camps: These are non-residential summer bootcamps that hold once a year where the girls are exposed to at least a 100 contact learning hours of leadership education,tech and craft skills acquisition  and enterprise development. Our learning is tailored to each girl’s area of interest and potential enabling them to immerse in specific tracks and also gain general knowledge.

Partnerships & Policy: In alignment with SDG Goal 17, We believe in partnerships for goal accomplishment and will partner with mission aligned institutions, organisations, causes, and individuals to accelerate the vision fulfilment. We will also, based on organic engagement, provide homegrown policy solutions for education, girl child rights, and female empowerment in Africa.

"We believe that the African Emergence is significantly linked to the rise of young humane, competent, and visionary leaders, from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to be self-governed, technically and socially astute, impact-driven leaders, and culture shapers who will contribute to this emergence."

Our Programs

Our goal is to empower young girls to become confident and effective leaders in their personal and professional lives.

Testimonials

I like the fact that everyone was given the opportunity to unburden our heart at summer camp and that the big sister spent their time to teach and motivate us.
